Keep on Praying, Faithful Christian

From the time I was a small child, I have been praying for my family to be saved.  Sometimes it seems that prayer will never be answered.  At one particular time I was discouraged and complaining to the Lord about praying for so long and not seeing any results.  The Lord gave me this song to encourage me.  If I don’t pray for my loved ones, who will?

Keep on Praying, Faithful Christian

Do you have a dear lost loved one you’ve been praying for so long?
Does it seem your burden’s heavy, and your hope is almost gone?
Does it look like Satan’s clutches are on his life so strong –
That nothing you say makes a difference, And his time is almost gone?

Keep on praying, Faithful Christian.
Yes, Jesus sees your tears and he feels that burden too.
One of these days your prayers will be answered and it will be a brighter day
And it will be worth it when the Savior comes to take His bride away.

In His word it says He hears our prayers and I know His word is true.
He’s not willing that any should perish, and that means your loved one too. 
One day soon He’s coming to get us, and if they’re to make it that day,
You’ve got to keep praying ‘til you know that the answer’s on its way.
