Mercy, Pardon and Glory In 1988, there was a terrible car accident involving two young men. One was killed at the scene of the accident; but the driver recovered. As I was praying for the young man to be healed both of his physical wounds and his emotional scars from this accident, this song was written. Not only can we can go to Calvary for ourselves, we can take someone else with us. There we will find mercy for our souls, pardon for our sins and all the glory of Christ Jesus our Savior. Mercy, Pardon and Glory Mercy and pardon
and glory were up there on dark Calvary Once my life was
wrecked by sin and strife, I had no peace within For mercy and
pardon and glory were up there on dark Calvary Once I had a
friend, a friend so true, whose life was shattered and torn For mercy and
pardon and glory were up there on dark Calvary |
